CAKRANEGRA, Indonesia -- The Pura Meru, which is next to the Mayura Water Palace, is the primary Hindu temple on Lombok. The tallest meru (like a pagoda), represents Shiva's house. The other two represent the homes of Vishnu and Brahma. The meru also represent the three great mountains sacred to Indonesia Hindus: Gunung Agung (Balie), Gunung Rinjani, (Lombok), and Gunung Bromo (Java).
